What you have received in your PetVoice pack;

  • One red heart shaped PetVoice recorder unit.
  • One additional 3/4 inch key ring.
  • One 1.5 gram tube of super glue.

Get to know your PetVoice device;
Please see diagram to the right. Your PetVoice recorder is a very durable high quality 10 second recorder.
 
Recording your contact information;

  1. First remove the plastic tab from the unit to activate the battery.
  2. Press and "hold" the record button. Note a light at the bottom of your heart shaped unit will light up and stay on for 10 seconds marking your record time.  Hold the unit  approximately 18 inches from your mouth speaking in a normal tone to deliver your contact information.
  3. To play back your recorded message press and release the "Play" button.
  4. To set your message permanently once you are satisfied, place a dab of super glue {provided} on the "RECORD" button.

NOTE: Not following step #4 might result in an accidental erasure of your contact information.

Suggestions;

  1. If you are not happy with your message, simply record over it. You may do this as many times until you are completely satisfied.
  2. KEEP IT SIMPLE.....Trying to record  "too much" information results in making your message hard to listen to. We suggest that you only put the pet's name and a contact phone number. We also suggest that you use a cell phone number {if available} since that number travels with you if you move from your current location. Remember that you will have all your detailed information on PetVoice.net National Pet Registry for the person that finds your beloved pet.

National Pet Registry;
Now that you have recorded your message on the PetVoice device you are ready to enter detailed information on our National Registry.

Information You Will Be Asked For;
Pet's name, color of pet, distinctive markings, micro chipped status, Vet's name, Vet's phone number, health issues, owners name, owner's contact phone number, special notes and you will be able to also upload a photo of your pet.
 
Special Notes For National Registry;

  1. Your are responsible for the accuracy of this information and PetVoice has designed a dynamic interactive website which allows you to update this vital information as needed.
  2. Only list the information you wish to share with someone who finds your pet. You may wish to only put your first name or use a work phone or cell phone number instead of your home number. These will be your choices to make. The information placed on our site can "only" be seen by those people that has access to the 8 digit tracking number from your PetVoice recorder tag, such as a person or agency that finds your lost pet.
